Corrective Massage Techniques: Knees and Ankles

This course will teach the therapist how to effectively assess the client's knees and ankles for signs and symptoms, identifying whether the issue is muscle, tendon, ligaments, or fascia related. The student will learn the indications, contraindications, and application of techniques.

Pathologies taught in this class include Inversion and Eversion problems, Plantar Fasciitis, Anterior displacement of the tibia, Meniscus tears, LCL/MCL Tears, ACL/PCL weakness, Water on the Knee, Baker’s Cyst, Patellar Tracking, Chondromalacia Patella and Osgood-Schlatter’s disease.

Techniques appropriate for the specific, presented conditions will be taught.

Cost: $270 for both days
